Full disclosure, this newsletter is going to get nerdy and long. So long in fact, that I’ve decided to break it up into at least two parts. It’s certainly more technical than philosophical this time around, but I’m hoping some of you will find it helpful.

When I started this newsletter, I figured at best it might serve as an exercise for me to get some ideas down about what I’ve experienced in the past thirty years trying to make records. A sort of digital diary of the stuff that’s floating around in my head. I had a hope that maybe some people might find some of the things in it helpful in their own pursuits. What I didn’t expect is the amount of positive feedback and support I’ve received from people so quickly. It has been absolutely tremendous and I want to thank everyone who has read these and subscribed and especially those who have taken the time to personally offer words of encouragement. It means a lot to me and is really inspiring.
